So your getting married! Don't make planning the wedding take all the the fun that you are going to have out of your special day. All the hard work and effort that you put in to planning will pay off in the end because you will not have to worry about any of the details on your wedding day.
The cost of a wedding can get rapidly out of control this is why it is so important that you start off with a budget. A wedding budget may not be a sexy thing but it doesn't have to be negative either because by staying within your budget you can start off your marriage and not be in serious debt.
When you first start to plan you need to sit down as a couple and make a list of which items are the most import to you on your wedding day. Then you need to decide where the money is coming from because your plans may not match the amount of money that you want to spend.
The first step in planning your special day will be choosing a location to hold the wedding and reception. Then you need to find out if the location is available for the date you have chosen then reserve the location.
The next step is you want to go to the printer and choose your invitations and save the date cards that you want to use for your wedding. Then you will need to talk to the person who is officiating at your wedding to make sure that they have that date available.
You need to decide as a couple what kind of wedding you want. Is it going to have a theme or not, are there special interest that you have that you want to include in the wedding. This will include if the wedding will be formal or informal and then you can decide the dress code for your guest.
Now it is the time to start the search for the perfect dress because it is never to early to start looking. Once you have dove into the dress search you want to focus your attention to the catering and wedding cake that you want to have.
After you have that decided then it is time to choose the flowers and music. Make sure that you check with many florist and musicians when searching for what you are going to use in your wedding.
Lastly it is time for you to think like a married couple and decide were you would like to go and spend your first time together as Mr. And Mrs.
